The Dallas Cowboys have been working with AT&T on implementing faster Internet speeds, adding more interactive digital signage displays, offering a mobile app for fan interaction at AT&T Stadium during games — and investing in The Display Shield bulk display enclosures — according to an announcement from Display Shield provider Protective Enclosure Company.

According to PEC, the Display Shield is spreading as a solution for signage protection at sports arenas and outdoor facilities, offering water-resistance and security. A full 20 of PEC's newly designed digital signage cases — The Display Shield DS5060H-2 models — will be located in the AT&T Miller Lite Corral outdoor pavilion, the company said.

"PEC couldn't hope to be part of something more amazing," PEC CEO Justin King said in the announcement. "The Dallas Cowboys are an icon and close to the heart of America. As they move forward with their exciting interactive updates to the stadium, integrating The Display Shields and continuing in the new season, PEC will be cheering them on."

Made of ultra-clear Lexan polycarbonate, the same material used to produce bulletproof glass, the front covers, or shields, offer durability and screen protection, and The Display Shield's thermostatically controlled 36CFM 115V filtered fan coupled with two vents located on the upper side corners regulate the temperature of the enclosed display, according to PEC. Also, the weatherproof units are made of lightweight yet highly durable and long lasting HMWPE outdoor plastics.
