Daktronics reaches the end zone with 61 LED displays at 29 universities

Sept. 6, 2017

Daktronics has recently worked with 29 colleges and universities to deploy 61 LED displays at arenas across the U.S for the 2017 college football season. The company deployed main end zone video displays, ribbon displays, lobby entrance displays and auxiliary displays in concourses, according to a press release.

Daktronics worked with colleges such as the University of Houston, Trinity University, University of Alabama and the University of Florida to deliver the LED displays. The displays are designed to handle wind, rain, snow and other severe weather conditions.

"Every year, we see colleges raising the bar for their game-day experience for fans, student-athletes and coaches, while also maximizing exposure for their sponsors," Kyle Adams, regional sales representative, Daktronics, said in the release. "Similar to the professional leagues, our customers are starting to look at different ways to connect with fans and people passing by their facilities. We're here to help them provide the best experience possible from the streets to their seats and every point in between."
