CVC Viagens, a retail-based travel agency with several locations across Brazil, has recently deployed a new digital signage network called CVC-TV. The system features a series of LCD screens arranged vertically in a custom enclosure.
The company is deploying two designs. One model features four 17-inch LCD screens mounted vertically, and the other uses two 32-inch LCD screens, also mounted vertically. In both cases the screens are driven by a single PC using the Navori Player software.
The company uses the Navori Mosaic (zoning) feature to position individual content on each screen. Since Navori lets users switch between zoned and full-screen media, CVC can create interesting visual effects by mixing content that spans all the screens with content designed for each specific screen. The results are attention-grabbing and very effective. Content is a mix of customer information and promotional material.
Currently, CVC Viagens has 50 players deployed with plans to deploy many more units in the next year.
