Crystal Display Systems adds Lumineq Displays to offerings

Crystal Display Solutions is now selling Lumineq Displays. Lumineq, a business unit of Beneq, manufacturers thin film electroluminescent displays (TFEL), according to a press release.

The TFEL displays are designed to retain 75 percent of their brightness even after 100,000-hours of operation. They can also handle temperatures from as low as minus-40 degrees Celsius to 105 degrees Celsius.

Other features include:

• 179-degree vertical and horizontal viewing angle.
• High brightness, contrast and pixel technology to make small text more readable.
• Ability to withstand 200 G force.
• Customizable display glass.
• Electromagnetic compatibility.

The displays are designed specifically for use in aerospace, mining, military, medical and other environments, according to the release.
