CoolSign introduces bi-directional text support for digital signage software
September 7, 2009
CoolSign has added bi-directional text support to its list of features of its digital signage platform. Companies running content that reads right to left, such as those in the Middle East, will now be able to show their messages on digital signage much easier, the company says. "Taking the rapidly increasing demand in the Arabic region into consideration, both CoolSign and MxN have worked closely together to jointly develop this new and exciting feature. Until this feature had been released, MxN had to utilize various workarounds to handle Arabic text. Now, we have tied the pieces together and made bi-directional text support a standard feature of CoolSign" said Teo de Lange, sales manager for CoolSign EMEA.
"We're very pleased to release this feature, as it is a sign of our commitment to the international market. This is a small part of a broader initiative to provide full support for markets worldwide, that you can expect to see more of in coming months," said Lou Giacalone, Jr., president and founder of CoolSign.
