Cook's Children's Hospital boosts spirits with Daktronics video wall

Cook's Children's Hospital has partnered with Daktronics and Dimensional Innovations to install a 4K LED video wall at its recently-launched Prosper, Texas location, according to a press release.

The display provides mood-setting with programmatic nature content from local settings that changes based on time of day. It can also display messaging and is planned for use in special events to display movies and other content.

"We're grateful to be a part of bringing joy to this important space," Steve Bayer, special projects director at Daktronics, said in the release. "Working with Dimensional Innovations has been a great experience and we value our strong partnership with their team of professionals as we work together to bring desirable and memorable experiences to audiences using digital technology."

"Providing positive distractions and soothing elements for children and their families, this stunning display from Daktronics will serve as a focal point for the newly-opened Cook Children's Hospital in Prosper, Texas," Alex Divine, healthcare account director at Dimensional Innovations, said in the release. "Offering an immersive escape before an appointment can make an uncertain situation much more manageable for pediatric patients, families and hospital staff."
