Comprehensive Connectivity Co launching 4K extenders, switchers at InfoComm16

Comprehensive Connectivity Company, a connectivity solutions provider to the pro AV/IT markets, will debut the next generation in its series of pro AV/IT 4K/UHD extenders, switchers and wallplates for long distance transmission, extension, Ultra High Definition capability and HDCP 2.2 copy protection content pass-through at InfoComm 2016, June 4-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth No. C9932, in Las Vegas, according to a company press release.

New in the extender series, the CHE-HDBT300U includes transmitter and receiver kits, transmission of audio and video signal distances up to 330 feet, as well as the flexibility of EDID management and 4K at 60 hz. The range of switcher models — CSW-HD442-4K60, CSW-HD455KM, CSW-HDBT300M and CSW-HDBT44K330 — has multi-input source and video wall display functionalities as well as resolution scaling, IR and RS232 distributed over a single cable. The introduction of the new 2-Gang HDBaseT wallplate — WP-HDBT-328T — with a built-in transmitter has the added feature of HDBaseT as a connector option where longer signal distribution distances are required as part of the installation.

In addition to the new product showcase, Comprehensive will feature its roster of pro AV/IT product lines, including USB adapters and converters, cables and hubs, the series of connectivity kits, and the family of HDMI cables, the release said. The HDMI cables are available in MicroFlex, Plenum and Network construction, and include features such as SureLength Indicators with cable lengths visible on all connector heads and Active Optical Plenum HDMI cables with UHD 4K at 60 resolution, and optical fibers flexible for tight bends.
