Comark intros rugged digital signage workstation

The Comark Corporation has upgraded its 19-inch All-in-One Waterproof Workstation for digital signage applications where process splashing, spraying or high pressure wash downs occur. 

The NEMA 4X Workstation is sealed against the elements, resistant to corrosion and constructed of stainless steel, according to a press release. It includes a resistive touchscreen, watertight external I/O connectors, Intel ATOM or i5 processing capability, hard drive or solid state storage options, thin client configuration option, Windows 7 operating system, and universal VESA mounting pattern. Finned heat extrusions have been added to the Workstation to allow additional cooling for more processing choices.

Comark will debut the Workstation at the Pack Expo International 2012 being held in Chicago from Oct. 28–31.
