Clemson University has installed a 10mm EMPIRE Exterior LED scoreboard from SNA Displays at Clemson Lacrosse Stadium, according to a press release.
The scoreboard measures 20-feet-six-inches by 34-feet-eight-inches (624 x 1,056 pixels), presiding over a 2,000-seat stadium that was recently constructed for the women's lacrosse team. Clemson is currently the only U.S.-based university with dedicated facilities solely for women's lacrosse, with construction funded in part by the Hear Her Roar campaign.
The project received support from owner's representative and technology consultant Anthony James Partners, with installation services supplied by Bumgarner Construction.
"It's a pleasure to be part of the new women's lacrosse program as SNA Displays coordinated the foundation, steel, and LED on the new video display." Nick Gioia, senior project manager at SNA Displays, said in the release. "Clemson University is starting off their new program on the right foot by investing not just in cutting-edge technology, but in the tools that will thrill crowds and spur on the athletes."
