ClearOne earns patent for video streaming tech

ClearOne, an A/V solutions company, has received a patent for its video streaming technology. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued ClearOne patent number 9,807,408 entitled "A control mechanism for video output," according to a press release.

ClearOne designed this technology to allow video decoders to stay synchronized with the encoder to enable a smoother playback without stuttering. It currently uses the technology in its View Pro D110 decoder, according to the release.
