Clear TV, Neighborhood Market Association sign deal for digital signage rollout

July 6, 2009

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Neighborhood Market Association, a corporation dedicated to empowering independent retailers in the food and alcohol beverage industry on the West Coast, and Clear TV Inc. have announced a partnership for digital signage.
Screens will be deployed at each of the NMA's 2,000 member retail stores. Clear TV has chosen UCView's digital signage software to provide an interactive media platform for its clients.
"We are very excited about the opportunity to provide effective and efficient messages to the consumer, whether it be product knowledge or community information," said Ben Remez, president and chief executive of Clear TV. "Digital signage is a medium creating the possibility for a product owner to not only engage their viewers, but to evoke an instant response. Combining the efforts of NMA's independent retailers has the media buyers lining up to reach an audience that surpasses many television shows with the power of a targeted reach."
The first phase of the rollout is scheduled to start in San Diego, Calif. and Las Vegas, Nev.
