June 24, 2010
Classic Care Pharmacy has chosen to deploy a digital signage solution to help communcicate prescription needs to more than 13,000 of its senior residents in more than 170 long-term care homes in Ontario.
The firm has chosen ScreenScape to develop the digital signage network that will be progressively deployed to 170 long term care homes and retirement residences in Ontario.
Classic Care Pharmacy joins MedXTV, Clinical Networks, and other healthcare brands as members of the service. The provider, ScreenScape, is quickly amassing a business-to-business network in which members share the common purpose of presenting digital content on screens in their lobbies and waiting rooms, as well as in retail stores and public places. "Classic Care will now be able to deliver relevant healthcare information as well as promotional content to each location where it has a ScreenScape-powered display. We are excited by the places they will take our technology over the coming months and by the partners that will be involved in this project," said Kevin Dwyer, president & CEO of ScreenScape, in a press release.
