Chief launches planning tool for digital signage in classrooms

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Chief Manufacturing has announced the Virtual Classroom, an online tool to assist customers with digital signage product selection for school applications.
The Virtual Classroom provides an interactive tour of Chief mounting products that are specially designed for the education sector. The tour allows users to scroll around the room and click on the products for more information. Products within the room include the RPA Elite Projector Mount, Fusion Mobile Cart, Monitor Mount and Swing Arm Wall Mount. The Virtual Classroom also includes links to CAD drawings, tech drawings, installation manuals and more.
The Chief Web site also includes MountBuilder, an online product configuration tool for building and specifying digital signage mounting solutions. The tool walks the user through a logical sequence of steps for building a mount configuration that visually appears on screen. Drop distance and weight capacity are automatically calculated as parts are added. A parts list is also generated, with the ability to edit parts and quantities.
