Chief introduces new in-wall swing arm mounts

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Chief Manufacturing has introduced a new series of integrated in-wall swing arm mounts. Designed for 26-63" flat panel TVs up to 200 lbs (90.7 kg), the new MIWRF and PIWRF Series allow TV placement during installation without the need to retrofit existing wall structures. The mounts are designed for users to cut out the drywall at the desired wall location and install the new in-wall box. The in-wall solution offers fully integrated, pre-assembled in-wall mounts, fitting flush inside the wall with a low-profile finish. Chief debuted the in-wall mounts at CEDIA 2007, where the mounts received the Pacific Media Buckaroo HDTV Award for Best of Show. Features include built-in lateral shift and height adjustment, integrated cable management and a trim kit for a low-profile finish of less than two inches (51 mm). Users have increased positioning flexibility of their flat-panel TV with wide viewing angles from previous Chief models. Optimal viewing is achieved with 40 degrees of left/right swivel, up to 15 inches (381 mm) of extension (on the PIWRF series), fingertip tilt and ultra smooth movement.
