Cayin to launch 4K digital signage player

Cayin Technology Co. Ltd. plans to launch its SMP-2200 series of digital signage media players, featuring 4K resolution. The SMP-2200 comes with two HDMI outputs for two displays, according to a press release.

Cayin built the player with dual LAN ports and a firewall for protection against open network standards. The device also comes with the SMP-NEO2 V3.0 software, which supports multi-touch gestures and integration with HID-compliant touch panels. The software also supports the video codec H.265 for faster video processing and 50 percent smaller video sizes, according to the release.

"The debut of the SMP-NEO2 version 3.0 and SMP-2200 series came with plenty of innovative designs. Cayin puts great efforts into maintaining information security and building a more flexible platform for projects with scalability," Ravel Chi, Cayin general manager, global sales division, said in the release.

Customers can manage a network of SMP-2200 players centrally with Cayin's CMS V11.0, according to the release.
