Cayin intros 4K player, Android app

Cayin Technology Co. Ltd. recently launched its SMP-2300 4K HDMI digital signage player and Android app called Cayin Signage Assistant, according to a press release.
The SMP-2300 is a fanless media player that can support up to two displays either as a two-by-one video wall or as separate content streams. It also supports dual LAN ports, HTML4 web pages, multi-touch gestures and a built-in firewall.
The Cayin Signage Assistant allows users to manage multiple digital signage projects via various mobile devices. Its features include:
- Can manage SMP players on one or multiple CMS servers.
- Detects abnormal connection situations and allows users to reboot players remotely.
- Monitors current playback content.
- Gives information on software updates and product releases.
