Captive Indoor Media signs deal with Bluegrass Cellular

September 25, 2005

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Captive Indoor Media, a digital signage software development firm, announced in a news release that Bluegrass Cellular has chosen Codigo as the platform to control their retail digital signage network. The Codigo software suite has already been deployed in one location and will be installed at all 13 Bluegrass Cellular stores over the next 6 to 9 months.

Bluegrass Cellular will use the system to entertain and inform customers while in the store. The program also allows them to speed product introductions to market and better merchandise to their customers while they are in each respective store.

"Because our stores are spread across the state, we have very distinct customer groups" said Kellie Panter, marketing manager with Bluegrass Cellular. "With the Codigo system from Captive Indoor Media we can easily schedule different information to each of the displays in our stores. This gives us great flexibility to target our message more closely to the interests of each group without having the expense or time lag associated with the traditional printed Point of Purchase materials."

"Bluegrass Cellular is an exciting customer acquisition for us" said Brian Nutt, president of Captive Indoor Media. "They are using our system in its traditional sense but are also unique because of the way they plan to segment media based on location-specific demographics. It is very rewarding to see our system be used to its full potential."
