Captive Indoor Media releases editing tool for digital signage content
January 24, 2010
Captive Indoor Media announced today the latest release of its flagship software product, Codigo. The new release, Codigo 3.07, is focused on lowering the cost of content design associated with Digital Signage as well as enhancing Codigo as a whole.
Captive's Codigo 3.0.7 provides enhancements to its intuitive interface and simplifies the process of content editing and management. The GoMedia feature enables users to make edits to Captive's content without using a third party editing tool and can quickly be done without ever leaving the Codio application. Users can easily edit content elements, such as text, numerical values, images, and logos and save those changes directly to their media library.
"The release of Codigo 3.0.7 is another positive step for Captive and is consistent with our vision of providing software that easy to use and manage." said Brian Nutt, CEO of Captive Indoor Media. "Customer feedback was a significant driver in our decision to develop this feature. We see this as a homerun for Captive and our customer."
A significant portion of Captive Indoor Media's sales growth came from the replacement of legacy signage systems offered by other vendors. This continues an eighteen month trend, where customers are choosing to replace their outdated systems with the more feature rich, user friendly, and hardware independent systems like that of Captive Indoor Media.
"With increasing frequency, we receive email and phone inquiries from organizations actively looking to replace their existing system with ours" said Nutt. "I believe this not only speaks to the increasing awareness about our company and our product, but also to the challenges other vendors are facing in keeping up with the technological needs of customers."
