Capital Networks takes its digital signage software into U.S. education market
August 12, 2009
Capital Networks Ltd., has launched a new digital signage software program, aimed at the U.S. Education market. Dubbed Audience.Campus, the platform has been designed to enable high schools, colleges and universities to improve communication with students across multi-site campuses, as well as within individual faculties or departments using dynamic digital signage.
The solution can run up to 100 channels simultaneously per installation location, ensuring each department within the school can run customized channels of content, controlled by staff and students.
CNL has a range of high profile clients in the education sector, including UCLA, Columbia University, Purdue University, Boston College and Case Western Reserve University.
"It's not surprising that it's also becoming popular in large educational institutions, like colleges and universities, because it is designed to cope with the complex layout of the buildings and the wide-reaching audience," said Blake Reeves, manager of Business Development at Capital Networks Ltd. "Campus messaging takes the form of two basic types: universal campus-wide information applicable to everyone and hyper-local information important to a very specific department or screen."
