Camden improves wayfinding with kiosks

July 5, 2016

The city of Camden, South Carolina is aiming to improve visitor's experiences by deploying wayfinding solutions. The city has deployed signage and informational kiosks, according to a report by Chronicle Independent.

Visitors can use the kiosks to get information about the city and an area map that shows tourist attractions. The kiosk divides the city on nine touring areas such as the Colonial District, Downtown District, Hampton Park and more.

"The kiosks are situated in areas of high foot traffic and provide a general idea of what's where," said Suzi Sale, development director of Camden tourism and economic development. "The initial installations are in locations where individuals or groups can gather and easily see how to get around and tour Camden."
