c3ms and Nobel Biocare launch digital signage network for dental offices
December 9, 2007
CAMAS, Wash. — Creative Marketing and Merchandising Media Solutions (c3ms), has announced the launch of the NobelVision Network throughout North America. Implementation of the private promotional and advertising network currently is underway and will be installed in 200 dental offices using Nobel Biocare products by the end of 2007, with plans to expand to 1,200 dental reception rooms by the end of 2008.
The NobelVision Network is a customized channel of dental healthcare information designed to educate the patients of Nobel Biocare's customers on their dental options through educational, informational and entertainment segments via an IP-based, networked narrowcast system presented on large flat-panel screens installed in dental offices.
Additionally, the network will be used for clinician training, communication and continuing education by companies providing products and services directly to the practice after hours. The training is designed to mitigate travel time and cost to the dental practitioner.
"Digital signage networks give healthcare providers a way to educate their patients on both new and existing procedures and treatment options, as well as provide manufacturers with a new avenue to reach their valued customers. This can help generate additional revenue for both the practice and suppliers," says Ray Heiser, managing partner of c3ms.
The NobelVision Network is operated and managed through a collaborative effort between c3ms and Real Digital Media. c3ms is responsible for implementing the network, as well as managing the distribution of content across the network. RDM is responsible for providing the digital signage network software and hardware.
