BTX Technologies, which distributes and manufactures interface, integration and system products, has added the projection screen company Elite Screens Inc. to its roster. BTX will distribute the Elite Prime Vision line of premium fixed-frame and electric projection screens.
According to a news release, the line's fixed-frame projection screens, at 3.5 inches wide, are the thickest frames available and include the first screen material to eliminate the moiré effect. The line-up includes the Peregrine AcousticPro 4K, which features acoustically transparent screen material and a high-density weave to meet the needs of digital projectors with resolution up to 4K (4096x2160). The Peregrine AcousticPro 4K is also available with a curved frame to heighten the viewers’ sense of immersion. The screens include a three-year warranty and come in various configurations, including in-ceiling, on-wall, in-cabinet and on-floor, and they’re available in several materials.
"There is a great demand across every type of front-projection installation for screens that optimize the viewing experience with the highest quality and most consistent images possible," Kim Robbins, senior marketing manager of BTX Technologiesm, said in the release. "The EPV line is more than ready to meet that demand, and we are very excited to have been selected as a distributor for these products."
Jeff Klida, national sales manager CI/Pro AV for Elite Screens, said the distribution agreement with BTX will improve customer service for his company. "With premium products such as our EPV line, quality-focused partnerships become especially valuable as we strive to set new price-to-performance benchmarks for our industry," he said.
