BroadSign names new president, moves to Minnesota

MINNETONKA, Minn. — BroadSign International, provider of digital-signage software, has named Patrick "Rick" J. Engels its new president and chief executive.
According to a news release, Engels joins BroadSign from Petters Group Worldwide, where he served as chief financial officer and media/marketing portfolio manager.
"Rick's mix of strategic vision, passion and discipline, combined with his intimate understanding of growth in emerging technology companies, make him the right person to take BroadSign forward at this stage in the company's life cycle," said Tom Petters, Petters Group's CEO and chairman.
