BroadSign appoints new chairman, plans to double workforce

MONTREAL — BroadSign Canada Inc. announced that its parent company, digital signage software provider BroadSign International Inc. ("BroadSign"), appointed Richard Boudreault as chairman of the Board of Directors and will invest an additional $4.5M in its facilities located in Montreal, Quebec.

BroadSign will use the new investment to expand the research and development department and reinforce the company's customer service and support infrastructure in Montreal. The company also plans to build a new call center and expects to double its Montreal-based work force from 30 to 60 employees in 2008.

New chairman Richard Boudreault brings a strong background in start-up and development-stage technology ventures to the board. He has held technology-related positions in organizations including SOFINOV, a subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Oerlikon Aerospace, and the Aerospace Technology Center. He also has been an active member of more than 20 boards for private and public companies.
