BrightSign now shipping TAA-compliant media player

BrightSign recently launched its XT1144-T, a media player that is compliant with Trade Agreements Act regulations. The TAA stipulates that all products must be manufactured in the U.S. or a designated country. Due to this feature, government agencies in the U.S. can use the media player, according to a press release.

The XT11440T offers a 4K video engine, HTML5 rendering engine and GB Ethernet. It also supports H.264 and H.265 decoding, power-over-Ethernet and HDMI In for live TV playback.

The media player is available now for $850, according to the release.
