BrightSign announces VP Sales, Americas

BrightSign, a digital signage firm headquartered in Los Gatos, California, has announced Misty Chalk as its vice president of sales for the Americas, according to a press release.

Chalk joined the company in 2018 and most recently served as director of U.S. sales and federal before entering the new role during a broader organizational shift in January 2023, during which longtime BrightSign executive Frank Pisano accepted the role of CEO at Bluefin, which BrightSign describes as a close partner organization.

"Throughout my time at BrightSign, I've been fortunate to work closely with the best sales team in the business," Chalk said in the release. "Frank (Pisano) set a great example of what it takes to manage a high-performing sales team, and I'm humbled but also very excited to carry the torch as we continue to grow the business in 2023 and beyond."

"Misty's enthusiasm and tenacity have served her well at BrightSign since joining us five years ago," Jeff Hastings, CEO at BrightSign, said in the release. "Successfully managing our government sales organization first at the regional level and then countrywide demonstrated that she doesn't shy away from taking on big challenges.
