BrightSign adds HD, LS media players to portfolio

BrightSign has launched its HD and LS media players for its Series 4 player family. The models come with upgraded hardware and version 8.0 of BrightSign's dedicated operating system, according to a press release.

The HD4 player offers 4K native decode with HDMI 2.1 and HDR10. Both players also come with updates to the HTML rendering engine and higher power efficiency, according to the release.

BrightSign's OS 8.0 also provides a variety of development tools for Chrome, according to the release.
