The city council chambers for Brampton, Canada were recently updated by Aatel Communications Inc., which installed a 140-inch Christie CorePlus LED video wall. This video wall showcases documents, images and videos during council sessions, according to a press release.
Aatel deployed the 1.4-millimeter-pixel pitch LED display eight feet above the ground. It also deployed PTZ cameras and microphones.
The video wall features an ADA-compliant direct-mount system so it can be deployed on any surface.
"We went with Christie because they had a competitive price, and the specs on the wall met what we were looking for, including a finer pixel pitch, less power consumption and a sharp image," Cam Wright, operations manager AV-communications, Aatel, said in the release.
