Boxlight acquires Sahara Presentation Systems

Boxlight Corp., an interactive technology company, has acquired Sahara Presentations Systems PLC, a distributed AV solutions provider. Sahara provides a variety of touchscreen and digital signage solutions, according to a press release.

Boxlight completed the purchase for $94.9 million in the form of $66.7 million in cash and $28.2 million in preferred stock.

The Sahara acquisition expands our geographic reach — particularly in the EMEA region, provides significant revenue growth, results in immediate consolidated profitability, and adds tremendous global management talent," Michael Pope, chairman and CEO, Boxlight, said in the release. "We are committed to achieving dramatic growth, both organically and through acquisitions, and we are delivering on that promise. The combined companies are generating greater than $100 million in sales and are highly profitable. I look forward to reporting our consolidated financial statements in future quarters."
