Black Box USB to HD Pro links computers, HDTVs

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Black Box has released the USB to HD Pro (AC346A), the first HDMI- and HDCP-compliant USB converter that streams media files stored on a PC to ahigh-definition screen with HDMI input. It supports resolutions up to 720p for high-quality images and audio support. It is used by connecting the USB to HD Pro to a PC's USB port with the included cable, then linking it to a home theater system or digital signage system with an HDMI cable. It is Mac OS and Windows Vista ready and has an integrated audio equalizer.
