Big Digital Corp. has introduced its SafeChek digital entranceway technology to help enforce social distancing. The technology counts customers in the stores in real-time and delivers messages to customers on displays accordingly, according to a press release.
Businesses can use SafeChek for reservation/appointment messaging, out-stock items, current wait times to enter a store and promoted items. It also provides data on visit duration, frequency and customer traffic, according to the release.
"Our team launched one of Canada's first digital signage and safety networks, Onestop Media Group, in the Toronto Transit System in 2005 and later expanded to airports, malls, residential and commercial high-rise networks," Michael Girgis, co-founder of Big Digital, said in the release. "Our passion and expertise in providing real-time, contextual information to people 'on-the-go' translates naturally to the solution SafeChek provides today to businesses and consumers."
