Visual display solutions provider BenQ America Corp. is now shipping the newest generation of its M5 Series projectors explicitly engineered for small- to medium-sized spaces, the company announced.
Consisting of the MX525, MS524, and MW526, the line now features a brightness of 3,200 ANSI lumens, 10,000 hours of lamp life, and "cinema-like" Colorific image quality, the company said — allowing the trio to turn home theater entertainment, boardroom presentations and classroom activities into more immersive imaging environments.
"Our new line of M5 projectors is the product family's brightest generation to date," said Bob Wudeck, associate vice president, strategy and business development, at BenQ America Corp., in the announcement. "By delivering an incredibly bright 3,200 lumens of light across the line, users will experience better image integrity in any ambient lighting situation that increases both life-like representations and installation flexibility. Equipped with BenQ's SmartEco technology, Colorific image quality, and full Blu-ray HD 3D support, the devices are incredibly value friendly, allowing customers to create memorable media experiences without increasing their total cost of ownership."
By combining native SVGA (MS524), XGA (MX525), and WXGA (MW526) resolutions with a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, the M5 Series is the company's most accurate small-to-medium space projector family to date, BenQ said. The lineup also features BenQ's power-saving SmartEco technology to increase lamp life up to 10,000 hours, according to the announcement, by automatically adjusting projection brightness to ambient light conditions to reduce energy consumption.
The new MS524, MX525, and MW526 retail at $489, $529 and $749, respectively, according to the announcement.
