Axiomtek releases new digital signage platform
August 15, 2010
Axiomtek recently announced the release of its new large-size professional digital signage platform, the DSA-142.
The DSA-142 is equipped with a 42-inch, full high-definition wide TFT LCD, supporting 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution with high quality and exquisite images. Powered by high performance Intel Core2 Duo T9400 2.53 GHz or an energy-efficient Intel Celeron M 575 2.0 GHz processor with Intel GM45 chipset, this all-in-one platform delivers great computing power and graphic capability, the company says.
With its pluggable CPU board design, this digital signage platform is easy for system deployment and efficient maintenance, the company says, and the DSA-142 can be deployed in a variety of venues, from shopping malls to corporate environments, education, hospitality, banks, transportation, restaurants, recreation and more.
For system stability, this fanless unit can self diagnose LCD backlight life and detect external temperature. The LCD video alive detection determines if communication between the LCD and the system board is working normally, and a built-in sensor checks outdoor sunlight in order to adjust LCD color/backlight automatically.
For green power concerns, the optional motion detection sensor can switch the LCD off or on based on human foot traffic. Also, to enable operators to manage content effectively anytime anywhere via Internet, the DSA-142 supports 802.11 wireless LAN connection and 10/100/1000 Ethernet. An optional touchscreen is also available for users.
The DSA-142 is available now with the DSA-132 (31.5-inch LCD size) and DSA-146 (46-inch LCD size) from the same product line.
