Axiomtek launches module for high temperature performance, 4K

Axiomtek has launched its CEM511, a COM Express Type 6 Compact form factor module designed for medical imaging, digital signage, Internet of Things and more. The module is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core processor i7/i5/i3, and is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 85-degrees Fahrenheit, according to a press release.

Other features of the module include:

• Support for 4K resolution through Intel Gen 9 graphics engine
• Supports two DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM sockets with memory of 32GB
• Low power consumption
• Six PCI Express, three SATA-600 interfaces, one Gigabit LAN port with Intel® i219LM controller
• Four USB 3.0 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, and four digital I/O channels

"The CEM511 a new industrial grade COM Express Type 6 module using the latest Intel Core processor, is designed for the customer who is looking for a powerful, compact, flexible solution." Seamus Su, product manager of EPDE PM division at Axiomtek, said in the release. "The embedded board provides versatile features and benefits to reduce system development efforts and time, delivering the best solution for various embedded applications."
