Avisum debuts tabletop digital video player

Ferret (Australia): Avisum has developed the SP-AD70TB, an enclosed countertop digital video player with a 7-inch LCD screen. It is designed with an infra-red sensor, so playback starts and stops in response to nearby movement. Built around a flash storage device, the player supports MPEG-1 and 2, JPG and MP3 files and includes built-in speakers.
