Atlona unveils Omega Series HDBaseT receiver

Atlona, a Panduit company, has added the AT-OME-RX11 4K/UHD HDBaseT receiver to its Omega Series of switching, extension and video processing solutions. This receiver features audio de-embedding capabilities and when paired with at Atlona HDBaseT transmitter or output-switcher, it can deliver HDMI video and embedded audio up to 330-feet, according to a press release.

The 1.02-inch high device is HDCP 2.2 and can deliver 3K video at 60 Hertz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling at HDMI data rates up to 10 Gbps. It can also deliver Power-over-Ethernet to an Atlona Omega Series, HDVS-200 Series at AT-UHD-EX-100CE-TX-PD transmitter, according to the release.

"The OME-RX11 can be combined with an Omega Series switcher to provide a complete integration solution for meeting and presentation environments, but it also offers a new option  for use with earlier HDBaseT-output transmitters and switchers in applications needing audio de-embedding," David Shamir, director of product management, Atlona, said in the release. "Adding the OME-RX11 to our product roster gives integrators and end-users a broader choice of Omega receiver options to meet their exact needs."
