Atlona unveils HDMI to HDBaseT distribution amp

Atlona has unveiled its AT-UHD-CAT 2 HDMI to HDBaseT distribution amplifier. This device can distribute 4K content up to 130-feet and 1080p content up to 230-feet, according to a press release.

The CAT 2 comes with one HDMI input, one HDMI pass-through outputs and two HDBaseT outputs. Each HDBaseT output can deliver audio, video, remote power-over-Ethernet receiver power and RS-232 and IR control signals over a single cable, according to the release. Other features include:

• Supports 4K video at 60 Hertz with 4:2:0 chroma sampling
• HDCP 2.2 compliant.
• Compatible with other Atlona receivers.
• Can be remotely configured and managed over a LAN, WAN or VPN with Atlona Management System.
