Atlona taps Rene Yzaguirre as regional sales manager

Rene Yzaguirre has been appointed regional sales manager, south central U.S. region, for Atlona, and will report to Jamey Swigert, direct of AV sales and business development.

Yzaguirre has more than 25 years of industry expertise, especially within the education vertical, according to a press release.

As a sales engineer at Harman, Yzaguirre boosted the company's K12 market share through classroom AV innovation and was later named curriculum developer, where he created video training content and programs for partners, end users and internal sales teams.

His technical expertise, especially with AV collaboration and control technologies, adds value for Atlona partners and end users seeking to modernize AV systems for post-pandemic operations.

"The pandemic has forced us to reimagine our meeting spaces and classrooms to suit hybrid work and learning models, and establish safe, contactless environments for new safety protocols," Yzaguirre said in the press release. "Atlona's PTZ cameras have proven highly popular with our corporate and education customers that want to bring remote attendees into the room, while innovations within the Velocity control architecture limit physical contact with touch interfaces and help our customers manage room occupancy.
