Atlona, a Panduit company, has introduced its AV Education Technician and AV Education Designer training programs. These programs will provide AV training and certifications for technicians and designers in the education space, according to a press release.
The technician program offers classes on foundations of AV, circuit-based solutions and networking. The designer program offers these classes as well, but adds on instruction on touchless solutions, collaboration solutions, meeting spaces and more.
"Today's educational institutions frequently handle their own AV planning, design, and deployment, and require training resources that align with their distinct needs," Roger Takacs, strategic account manager at Atlona, said in the release. "Our new training certifications for educational technologists and designers combine the relevant core components of our existing, proven courseware with new content specifically developed around the needs of universities, colleges, and K-12 schools."
