Atlona shipping matrix switcher, HDBaseT receiver/scaler

Atlona, a Panduit company, has released two additions to its Omega Series of A/V communications and collaboration solutions. These products include the AT-OME-MS42 matrix switcher and the AT-OME-RX21 HDBaseT receiver and 4K/UHU scaler, according to a press release.

The matrix switcher helps power 4K presentation and video conferencing applications by offering auto-switching HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C inputs.

The AT-OME-RX21 offers 4K scaling, which can preserver color and spatial detail when transforming content between 4K and 1080p. The device can also power an Atlona HDBaseT transmitter through power-over-Ethernet, according to the release.

Both devices are HDCP 2.2 compliant and can transport video up to 4K up to 330-feet with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.
