Atlona launches HDBaseT receiver, scaler

Atlona has launched its AT-HDVS-SC-RX HDBaseT receiver and scaler. The device comes with Altona's CrystalScale technology for 4K scaling and picture optimization, according to a press release.

The HDVS supports a local HDMI and HDBaseT input to receive video, audio, control and Ethernet. Other features include:

• Can be remotely managed over LAN, WAN or internet.
• Audio de-embedding.
• TCP/IP and RS-232 scaler and display control.
• Can power remote transmitters via power-over-Ethernet.
