Atlona intros display control system for meeting spaces

Atlona, a Panduit company, has launched a display controller to automate meeting spaces. This 4K AT-DISP-CTRL controller can deliver user-programmed commands through TCP/IP, RS-232, IR or CEC, according to a press release.

The controller can detect the connection of a source device with an active signal and then send a command to power up a display. It automatically turns on a display based on an HDMI device connection or disconnection and can also adjust volume without a remote control. Other features include:

• Programmable display control modes for powering off displays after inactivity.
• Power over Ethernet compatibility.
• HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports 4K at 60 Hertz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.
• Can be used in conjunction with an HDMI switcher.
