Atlona debuts Velocity Keypad for AV control systems

Atlona, a ProAV hardware developer, has introduced the AT-VKP-8E Velocity Keypad as an alternative to touch panels for AV control systems, according to a press release.

Designed for smaller spaces and less complex applications, such as classrooms and small meeting spaces, the system features IP-based systems control, along with eight configurable buttons, and a 2.7-inch e-Paper display. The system leverages Atlona Cloud CMS cloud software.

"We designed this new keypad controller to address some shortcomings of touch panel control systems in simpler applications," Justin Kennedy, product manager for Atlona, said in the release. "The VKP-8E is a complete AV control system with simple yet customizable user interface that is perfect for most classrooms and small conference rooms."
