Atlona, an AV solutions producer, has announced its new generation of HDMI-HDBaseT distribution amplifiers, the AT-HDR-CAT series, according to a press release.
Including four models (AT-HDR-CAT2, AT-HDR-CAT4, AT-HDR-CAT8 and AT-HDR-CAT4ED), the line includes support for 4K HDR at 60Hz, 4:4:4 quality and no-latency, visually-lossless compression.
Models 2, 4 and 8 include two, four, and eight HDBaseT outputs, respectively, rated to transmit 4K HDR up to 130 feet or 1080P up to 260 feet. Model 4ED includes four extended-distance HDBaseT outputs rated to transmit up to 330 feet, plus ethernet extension. All models include one HDMI input.
"The image quality and cost-effectiveness of our new HDR-CAT distribution amplifiers make them ideal for bringing a single source to multiple output destinations over long distances," Marshall Simmons, product manager at Atlona, said in the release. "Their support for the latest 4K HDR standards ensures the highest-quality video content is supplied to the displays, while their extensive integration capabilities simplify installation and ensure maximum reliability."
