Digital signage hardware provider AOPEN Inc. is partnering with AMD and Microsoft to demonstrate its solutions this week at Computex Taipei 2014, according to a company announcement.
On June 4, AOPEN hosted its AOPEN Forum in its newly built Retail Evolution Lab in the Neihu district at the AOPEN corporate headquarters, the announcement said.
The Retail Evolution Lab is intended to be more than a showroom, AOPEN said; it’s an interactive experience center for learning and experimenting with an emphasis on in-store digital communications solutions.
At the AMD booth, a single AOPEN Digital Engine DE6140 will run four displays as part of a video wall solution, and at the Microsoft booth AOPEN will be showcasing facial recognition and both retail and education solutions.
AOPEN is an Acer Group company that specializes in small form factor commercial, medical, and industrial computing, as well as touch display technology for digital signage, kiosks and POS solutions as a leading global hardware manufacturer.
