Antlia Systems installs thermal detection kiosk at MxD

August 28, 2020

Antlia Systems recently deployed its Q9 Thermal Detection Kiosk at MxD's innovation center in Chicago. Funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, MxD provides factories with digital tools and experts to further manufacturing innovation, according to a press release.

The kiosk detects employees and guests as they enter and checks for both body temperature and whether they are wearing masks.

"As employees and partners return to the building, we've been working hard to ensure the MxD innovation center is a safe environment where everyone can continue to thrive and innovate," Chandra Brown, CEO of MxD, said in the release. "Given our mission to advance digital technologies in manufacturing, we wanted to integrate this thinking into our comprehensive return-to-workplace safety protocols through the Antlia temperature scanners, streamlined registration and check-in, and digital signage."
