Mediaweek: The expansion of digital technology, allowing marketers to rotate messages on a single board in the blink of an eye, will continue to reshape outdoor advertising in 2007. A spokesperson for the Outdoor Advertising Association of America predicts there will be digital billboards in hundreds of communities across America by early 2007. One manufacturer notes that digital billboards bring in six to eight times more revenue than their conventional counterparts.
