Almo Professional A/V, a A/V distributor, has acquired key assets of NewComm Distributing, the distribution arm of A/V manufacturing representative NewComm Technologies. As part of this acquisition, Almo will source all of NewComm's ClearOne inventory, according to a press release.
Almo will carry various ClearOne products through the acquisition such as video collaboration platforms, professional cameras, DSP mixers, microphones and more.
NewComm customers will now have access to Almo's more than 60 A/V brands, nine warehouse locations, the Sound Options audio sourcing and technical engineering group and the revenue-generating Managed Services, according to the release.
"When we made the business decision to exit distribution, we wanted to make sure our customers would be taken care of by a reliable, well-stocked and technically-astute distributor," Alex Schouten, sales and dealer communication for NewComm Distributing, said in the release. "Almo Pro A/V has a proven, secure path for these resellers and integrators with the benefit of ongoing opportunities for growth and profitability in the future."
Almo Pro AV is the largest value-added North American Professional AV distributor, offering its reseller partners the most expansive range of products, managed services, technical support, and training to drive business growth and generate profits.
