Almo Corp, a pro A/V provider, recently donated and gave back to a variety of charities and community service projects. These projects included a bicycle building project for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Police Athletic League, a dunk tank event for the American Cancer Society and Integrate Baltimore, which donates unused technology to underserved areas, according to a press release.
The PAL takes bicycles and donates them to impoverished children. Almo Corp employees worked with Sharp Appliances to build bicycles. Almo executives and other colleagues also took the plunge into a dunk tank for the Splash for Cash event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The company also donated products worth more than $25,000 to the Integrate Baltimore organization for underserved populations. Integrate Baltimore helps raise awareness on career paths into the A/V industry, according to the release.
