December 2, 2010

Digital media solutions firm inLighten has announced that it has acquired the AidaVision digital signage division of GRFI Ltd., a Chicago-based firm specializing in retail merchandising.

According to the announcement, the acquisition contributes to the rapid expansion of inLighten's digital media network by establishing relationships with current AidaVision users in banking centers across the United States. InLighten supplies digital media solutions to more than 1,500 clients in the financial, education, corporate and retail industries.

"This purchase is part of a focused mergers and acquisition program underway at our company," said Dave Saleh, inLighten's vice president of new business ventures. "We are actively seeking opportunities to acquire digital signage suppliers who seek the strength of an industry leader and the competitive advantage that expanded distribution and advanced technology can bring to their vertical markets."

Network conversion for AidaVision locations is anticipated to be completed within 60 days. Upon conversion, users will have access to inLighten's suite of desktop and Web-based content management interfaces, specialized news programming, extensive ready-to-use graphics library and technical support from a 24/7/365 help desk.
